3-Monochloropropanediol (3-MCPD) esters and glycidyl esters (GE) are formed as by-products during refining of edible oils. In the human body, they react to form the known toxins 3-monochloropropanediol (3-MCPD) and glycidol.

The Filtration option enables the automated filtration of samples using the MultiPurposeSampler MPS. Using the Filtration option, you can remove unwanted particles from your samples.

Micro Extraction is a process for extracting and enriching dissolved organic compounds from a matrix. In Sample Preparation – Micro Extraction there are 4 types, Solid Phase Micro Extraction, and others.

Solid Phase Extraction is a method for the preconcentration and purification of analytes for analytical chromatography. Solid Phase Extraction are 4 types, DPX, Solid Phase Extraction SPE2,  Solid Phase Extraction SPExos, and µSPE.

Evaporation is a process of concentrating sample extracts. The mVAP option allows up to 6 samples to be evaporated in parallel using the MPS. Evaporation is accelerated by lowering the pressure down to a vacuum and by heating and shaking the samples.

Weighing is a procedure for determining the weight of samples, analytes and other substances. In weighing there is a Balance. The Balance option allows checkweighing to be performed as part of the automatic sample preparation process using the MPS.
